My favorite of the above studio portrait pictures is the very first picture. The lighting is coming from above and behind so that everything is lit fairly well. Aanal's head is clearly shown with a small, light shadow cast onto the white screen. She is positioned with her body towards the screen and her face turned towards the camera. The majority of the space within the photo is of her face, although you can see some of her shirt. I took the shot horizontally so that you can not only see all of Aanal's face, but also part of the scenery in the background. When taking the picture, I was positioned right in front of her at a fairly close range so that I could get a clear shot. The lighting and position of Aanal creates a dramatic scene that promotes mystery and suspense, especially with her serious expression. The picture all the way to the right in the second column varies from the first. Her expression in this photo is more fun, portraying her personality especaially the way she holds up her boots in front of her face. Also this picture incorporates her entire body unlike just her face in the previous image. Although the lighting was farely similar, I shot the picture from above making it seem like I am looking down at Aanal.
